Delivery Instructions

  1. Create a .mp4 or .mov file of your final entry. We recommend .mp4 encoded as H.264. Max file size is 4GB.

  2. Drag the entry in the portal.

  3. Drag all the release forms to the portal.

  4. Fill out the required text fields.

  5. Click “Send Package”.

Contest Details

Contest prompts will be emailed to the teacher via email on Nov. 4th

Overview:
Share a tour of your studio / classroom! Prompts with specific direction and requirements will be emailed to the registered teacher on November 4th at 7AM CST. Teams will create a video giving a tour of their classroom or studio. One entry per school. No limit to the number of students per entry. First place will receive a $500 B&H gift card. Second place will receive a $300 B&H gift card. Third place will receive a $200 B&H gift card.

Audience:
Your audience is other video programs / students / teachers across the country.

Time Requirement:
60-90 seconds.

Rules:
The video must be created between November 4th and November 12th. Must shoot horizontally, not vertically. You may take this any direction you like: serious, funny, dramatic, professional, satirical, whatever. More rules and requirements will be sent out on November 4th.

FAQ

  • There will be first, second, and third place prizes.

    First place: $500 B&H Gift Card

    Second place: $300 B&H Gift Card

    Third place: $200 B&H Gift Card

    The gift card will be delivered to the teacher’s email address and is intended to be used for the school’s video program.

  • The studio tours may be displayed on the ASB website.

  • Entries will be submitted via online portal. Teachers will receive detailed instructions via email when they register.

    Each entry will submit all required release forms to that same portal.

  • No. Elementary schools and elementary school students are not eligible. Students must be in grades 6-12 to be eligible.

  • 1 entry per school. If schools submit multiple entries, only the first entry will be accepted.

  • Anywhere you and your students create video projects. It can be a classroom, a studio, or any other place you produce content.
