They don't have a suspended light grid. They don't have a TriCaster. They don't even have a green screen! How can a student broadcast program tell good stories without super-imposed digital sets?!?
But the most important thing The Bark from Mexico High School doesn't have is the temptation of using their equipment as a crutch. They are forced to use old-school techniques like telling good stories, finding good characters, and engaging their audience with actual content.
So we tip our TriCasters to the crew from Mexico, Mo for reminding us that the tech is here to serve the content, and that if you get that backwards, you'll end up with a studio that makes us all jealous and a show that no one watches.
